Validating the training modules for Dual Career Coordinators
Validating the training modules for Dual Career Coordinators
As part of the EDU-DC – EDUcation for Dual Careers of football talents project, the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) recently hosted an expert meeting focused on strengthening the Educational Programme for Dual Career Coordinators.
The session brought together four KNVB experts representing the Academy, National Teams, and both Men’s and Women’s Football departments. Through interactive discussions, participants reviewed and assessed the educational modules developed within the project.
The objective of the meeting was to validate whether the content of the modules aligns with practical realities and effectively supports Dual Career Coordinators in their daily work. The feedback and insights shared during this collaborative exchange represent an important step in ensuring that the EDU-DC programme remains both high-quality and practically relevant.
We look back on a highly valuable expert meeting and would like to thank all contributing experts — Sander Roegge, Sari van Veenendaal, Roger Bongaerts, René van Baren, Stephan Hakkers, Bart Goudswaard, Tobias Bosveld and Nika de Jong — for their expertise and commitment to strengthening dual career pathways in football.
