At the EDU-DC International Conference on Dual Career, taking place on 25 September 2026 at BayArena in Leverkusen, our fifth workshop will explore how individual career counselling can help players find a pathway that reflects their own interests, ambitions and circumstances.

The workshop will be led by Teresa Bernhard, Career Counselor for Women; Jule Schneider, Career Counselor for Men; and Konstantin Notter, Educational Director at TSG Hoffenheim.

Through its partnership with Anpfiff ins Leben, TSG Hoffenheim supports players across different areas of life – from school and university to discovering interests and opportunities beyond football.

At the heart of the workshop is a highly individual approach. Rather than looking for one solution that fits every player, participants will explore what effective personalised support should include and how clubs can help young footballers build their own dual career pathways.

But players are not making these decisions alone. Parents can play an important role in talent development, which is why the session will also look at how TSG Hoffenheim works to actively involve them. Participants will discover how an interactive digital platform is used to educate parents about their role and help them become active partners in supporting their child’s development.
